Hiii, I’m Ariel. But most folks call me Air.
I’m a strategist, storyteller, and creative partner based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I love working with people who have something in their heart or head that they’re trying to bring into the world.
For more than 15 years, I’ve helped leaders, creatives, and organizations develop programs , build systems, tell stories, and figure out what their work needs next. I’ve done that everywhere from the White House to universities, nonprofits, community-based projects, small businesses, and creative ventures.
I’m also the creator of Beauty in the Grit, an award-winning narrative podcast that shared true stories from my life in recovery and from people I met along the way. That project brought together so much of what I love: storytelling, creativity, human connection, and making space for hope.
Today, through Dear Jude, I work with purpose-driven leaders, creatives, and teams who could use another brain, a fresh perspective, or experienced hands as they create what’s next.
Dear Jude is named after my son, Jude.
When I became his mom, a lot of things got clearer for me.
I started thinking more deeply about the kind of life I wanted to build, the kind of work I wanted to do, and the kind of legacy I wanted him to see.
This work is part of that. Dear Jude is where I bring together the things I naturally love: helping people make sense of their ideas, tell their stories, create things that are both beautiful and useful, and move their work forward with more confidence.
For me, it all comes back to care.
Care in the words. Care in the design. Care in how people feel when they finally see their idea become something real.
